what's going on peoples? not a whole lot over here in lovely afghanistan, just another wonderful day in paradise. well i've got 2 months down and working on the third and an ass load of of mod cash in the bank.:jamming: i haven't been on in a while because i work 12hrs a day, plus college classes, and the rest of my time in the gym. this is my one day off a week so i thought i would check in and see how everyone is doing. i'll try and stop in more often then i have been just to let everyone know that i am still kicking over here.

i guess the one good thing is that a good friend of mine that i grew up with rotated in back in jan. so i hangout with him every chance i get. take care everyone and hope to talk to you all soon.

That was the good thing about going to Camp Vance from the fire bases was picking up American type food. yea those would be the barrels on both mine and colby's M4, and yes we have 30 round mags in them. can't have one in the pipe but all i gotta do is charge it..:jamming: dude thats cool about your parents living there, hopefully you'll get to come out. if you do, bring your bike and we'll do some riding.



yea Ghost we still have that stuff for now, General McCrystal is trying to shut it all down. he says soldiers are not concentrating on the mission at hand and that they are a distraction. so they will all probably close in the next few months. personally its like the only morale these young soldiers have and he wants to take that from them.

From what I saw McChrystal was always a bit of a hard ass, word was he was more Ranger than Special Forces but I never delt with him personaly so I don't have a real opinion. I doubt that he will be able to shut down all of the AAFES run stuff there. The Russan/Uzbeik day spa massage in the hair saloon on Bagram ....... well I was wondering how long that was going to last when I was there last time. (If it is still there.)

As long as Petraeus is the CETCOM commander I doubt he will let McChrystal take out all of the morael builders. I used to skydive with Petraeus out at PK Air Park (Raeford DZ) until he hook turned his parachute in 2000 causing it to fold. Back then he was always a leader that cared, a real good guy that respected troops even as a one star. I doubt the other 3 stars changed him much.

Be safe over there and bring your ass home ShadowRider. When the tour starts to wind down is when the grimlims come out and fuck with everone. Hope to see you on the road one day so we can shot the shit and have a cold beer........ I know how much you miss the cold beer. :thumbsup:

green bean down at KAF made me lol, Bagram way too much brass running up and down around disney for me, but where else can you get DQ? i liked RC East much better, esp summers were nice with the elevation and cooler temps.
