Hey, I want to get an aftermarket tach for a 2001 Shadow Spirit 750 but don't know if I got a single or dual fire ignition? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanx_

To the best of my knowledge these are single firing. Meaning the coil fires once on the ignition stroke and not on the exhaust stroke. Drag Specialties may be able to offer tech advice. Older HD's had the dual fire.
Post a shot of that baby when it's done.

Good suggestion AirportFF I purchased a Baron's 2" black faced tach from Phat Performance this summer and I think it's the best mod on my bike. I never was good at counting, too many distractions, and I always lost my place.... but with the tach I always know what gear I am in.

You'd of thuoght they'd have put a shift indicator on bikes before doing a kill switch on the kick stand wouldn't you? Oh well...
Hey anyone know of some good digital tac's?
