Got some 9in. struts thanks to Lee (coldwetlabs) on TSW. Put them on last night. I am pretty impressed. They aren't that much different than the stock shocks on the hardest setting. The struts just look 10 times better. One question I have is, Do you guys do anything to your kickstand? It doesn't lean over as much now and I am kind of worried about it going the other way.

Looks Good,as Far As The Kickstand, Its Up To You. They Do Sell
A Shorty Kickstand.i Think At Cruiser Performance. I Got 9" Struts
And I Worry Evertime I Park, I Try To Make Sure I Park On A Slant
Leaving Over To The Left Side I Bit.

1)ya can cut down or notch the stand stop a little at a time time it's a better

2) in the old days we'd heat the stand with a torch, put the weight of the bike on it and stop when it was where we wanted it.

3) buy the shorty kickstand

Well I went on a little ride today and the guy riding with me started flashing his light. We pulled over and the tire was rubbing. I guess it heated up and expanded and started rubbing on the passenger seat bolt. I was riding solo and don't really understand why it did it. Tried to mess with it when I got home but it just got worse and made a nice line down the center of my tire. Decided to pull the struts off and just get something that drops it 2.5" instead of 3".

OR.......... ya could take the $$ that ya would spend on a lowering kit and buy a different seat and ditch the bolt :-) . Ya already got the low look with the struts. My .02................

I would but I have to ride 2-up sometimes. The wife likes it but my daughter loves it. It's some fun father-daughter time.

That's for sure. She is about to turn 6 and the time has already gone by so fast.

when I first lowered the bike Airport FF pointed out that the fender looked a little crooked and he was right! it was... for some reason the subframe of the fender was out of place....and was rubbing on the side of the tire! I decieded tu cut it out and only left the part for the passenger support... now everything is lined up and working great.

ive used pay pal before on e-bay , but never person to person . i included the

Riding two up on struts, not a good idea, especially with a little peanut on the back. You can bounce them right off. Just my .02 cents.
