1999 shadow spirit 1100

Hi,
Are there any mods that can be done to the air box or other mods for the 1100 other than just exaust and carb jets? I have looked and can't seem to find anything. Even the hypercharger does not work for this bike.

My bad Noob. I did some further "searching" and just found out that the HyperCharger for the SS 1100 is cosmetic only. Guess that means you'll have to figure out a way to modify that intake.

I posted above Noob and flamed you for not using the search, I deleted that post on account of I didn't know what I was talking about....I did search and found things related to your intake but they were misleading and it led me to believe you could mod your bike like any one of the SS750...but looking further I found that that wasn't the case with your bike on account of when I downloaded the manual for your bike I found out that your air cleaner was located under the seat....guess your shit out of luck unless you figure out a way to redirect your air cleaner to the side of the engine......
however on the lighter side of things, did you know "Chato" means "Flat nose" in spanish........Well fuck off Noob, and welcome to the Dark Side of the Shadow World.

If you don't mind being a hack like me you can reroute the air intake for a ram air effect.

Your hack job does not look bad. Have you ridden your bike after doing that? I was curous if you noticed any difference? I have found a place that can also do some custom work if I need it. But I do like the you changed yours.

Yeah I rode all last summer after adding the air intake. It took 3 or 4 tries to get the jetting right... or close enough. It seems to have quicker throttle response and more power. It gets a lot of attention at bike events, most people think it's fake. Here are a couple more finished pics
