Well,

After waiting all day (had my bike torn down by 8:30am) for FedEx to roll up with my pipes and jet kit....they are on and sounding AWESOME!!! This ain't 'yo mama's 750 no more!!!

Here's the box:

And now the bike (took these this morning):

Everything went smoothly too, re-jet was a piece of cake! :D I used the 136 jet. I removed the top (most restricting part) of the snorkle and like it so far. I read a few snorkle removal discussions and it was about 50/50 on wether or not you really need to remove the entire thing. By taking off the top, you remove the main airflow bottleneck so it seems to be ok so far.

Well, I'm not really sure. Seems to have flattened out the torque curve a bit. It pulls so smoothly through all the gears. Put them to the test this past weekend on a 350 mile ride. Was able to pull of a coupe of 85-95mph passes with no problems. Cruised all day long around 80mph.

Word of advice to self and others: EARPLUGS!!!! This babies are loud in a good way, but for really long rides, earplugs are suggested.

I had several people do a double take on my little 750 (mine was the smallest displacement bike in the group I was riding with) . Dare I say, that my pipes sounded better than my friends 1800VTX with Bub pipes :wink_2:
