So. Yep. I'm here.
Found this place because I was looking for Shadow mods I can do once warranty is up.

I probably won't be able to make any rides though.

Been riding about a year now.
The two most enjoyable weekends on the bike so far have been:
1380 miles on the weekend. Getting onto a local track with the Shadow (http://www.shadowriders.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16585)

Welcome to the nuthouse NooB ...... keep an eye out for Craigv318, he's from down there somewhere and has completed some exhaust/FI mods so he may be of some help when you're ready. C2 doesn't look that far out of place on the track actually!!

Yep, he's from syd, about 3hrs away.
There's a bit of battle damage from that trackday too. Lost most of the end of my right peg, and the control mount/exhaust took a bit of a scrape.

I've got a baseline Dyno run due on Sunday. Once I have that, I'll look at the beanbox mod, and try and scope some pipes out. PCIII will probably go in there somewhere too eventually. I'll talk to the tuner about it.
The plan is to eventually get it supercharged.
I've talked to these guys: http://www.aaperf.com/ about a supercharger kit for the VT750, and they haven't had the interest yet, but it should be easy to do. Would cost around $6k if it is like the VFR kit.

This is what I got back in an email from them:

The Rotrex would be a perfect fit for a cruiser, though, as it would provide a major kick in the midrange & top-end. Your bike would probably be easy to develop a kit around, too. Unfortunately, with the amount of time it takes to thoroughly develop a system, we need to know there will be buyers once the kit goes into production. If more VT guys contact us, then we'll look at developing a system, but until then I don't forsee a kit coming anytime soon.

So if guys have metric cruisers, want a bit more grunt and don't want to trade out of the bike you have spent love and $$ on, bug these guys to make a kit for it.

That's the plan. I just need the money and time

Sounds like that could be a blast, BUT ... for $1k less then the price of new C2 I would have to pass, bit to steep for me.

I guess it depends how much love and $$ you've sunk into your existing bike.
If it's tricked out to be exactly what you want, and you just want *more* from your ride, this would deliver it.
(also, my C2 is pretty new anyway)

I prolly voided the warranty just by being me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tie_Me_Kangaroo_Down,_Sport Google Search FTW. :laugh4:

I had NFI what it meant. I simply assumed Rolfe Harris was into bestiality bondage. :laugh4::laugh4:
(falsely it seems)

Ahh hilarity. We just ran a motorbike cavalcade for a friend's daughter's formal (prom). 20 bikes in formation, the girl in an xs1100 sidecar from the 70's and the date on the back. were in the middle. We rock up, she gets out, he dismounts, and we rev up and cut out on signal. old school rotation of hand to fire everything back up and off we roar!
Got voted best entrance, and loudest entrance!

That's cool ass hell.....not to mention; don't have to worry about anyone's daughter getting 'knocked-up' in the back seat of her dates car on Prom night!!!!!

 Ahahahah! That's awesome!

I keep wondering though... Do people post stuff like that cos they want action on the bike too? (at least the tank is getting a wool buff!)
