Been putting it off as long as I can. Plan on going out tomorrow (sunday), gonna be high 58 & sunny. Will fill tank afterwards along with STA-BIL & get the Battery Tender ready. Just incase she has to go to sleep for the winter. But I will try to get her out every chance I can until it gets too cold.

I hear ya, C2 went down a couple weeks ago when I started to make some changes, I'm still trying to ride the Aero but I'm thinkin I'm just about focked as far as the weather goes, looks like single digit temps for the next while, I'll stabil her only when I absolutely have too, when there's snow on the ground

Don't feel too bad guys. It's just a diff mod season down here, we wait til summer when its 110* and so humid you think your in a sauna to do shit. Texas blacktop is no joke on those days. Driving around for work last year I watched a guy park his harley then pass smooth the fuck out in the parking lot.

+1 Bubbzz. Put mine away today. Went out for a ride first though. 40F was a little chilly... Damn winter!

Did the same. Rode for about 75 miles. Was about 58F, not as chilly as Beaker. Put in STA-BIL & topped off tank. Will put on Tender once I know I can't go out anymore. I will push it till it gets too cold. :xyxnervou

Yup, went for a nice ride Sat. before I put her away. Was 38 F. I was out for about 30 minutes. Brrrr..... Not a big fan of winter.
Hey beak, keep in touch. Gotta get out for more rides next year. I'd love to hook up with more Shadowriders that are within a day of here.

Here's a link to the original topic, it looks like you've already got a link to the dealer.

Forgot about that thread. I did look into it, but held off. Wasn't too sure of how it would hold up over time.
I 'm definitely keeping my painted stocker for long rides, it just seems more stable
How easy was it to mount? Along with the stock wiring from inside the stocker? Quality?

Ask Beaker ,I'm within a day of there.but it might take you another day or three to get back home . Heck we can ride to walmart for a sub, lol,
I put mine away last week, got tired of putting the seafoam in then running it back out when it got nice,so I finally decided to take the battery out so I wouldn't be tempted again:knife:

Mine is buried in the front of the garage. The p/o of our house finally got their house built and the daycare will soon be out of the basement.I`ll get to dig it out and tuck her to bed where it`s warm and i can see her when im downstairs playing pool and drinking beer. Will be nice to have the daycare gone but that 600 bucks a month will take some time to adjust to not getting.lol

You got it Ron. We've got all winter to plan.
BTW Rich, it's less than a days ride from your place to ours too. We have Walmart, but they don't sell beer there:furious2:
