MY FAMILY AND I ATE AT EMERILS IN LAS VEGAS -(YOU KNOW THE BAMMM!!GUY)-
ABOUT 5 OF USE,WE ALL ORDERED AND THE FOOD PORTIONS WERE SMALL.
EXAMPLE MY WIFE GOT A STEAK,IT WAS A VERY SMALL PIECE OF STEAK ON A
WHAT LOOK LIKE A SHINGLE BOARD.DONT GET ME WRONG THE FOOD WAS VERY
TASTIE,BUT ALL YOU GOT WAS THE MAIN THING,ANY SIDES WERE EXTRA,AND I
MEAN $$EXTRA$$.,AND THE SERVICE WAS GOOD,THE WAITERS "SIDE MAN"
WOULD CLEAN ANY THING OFF THE TABLE CLOTH AS SOON AS YOU SET IT DOWN
EXAMPLE- WHE YOU PUT SUGER IN YOUR TEA AND YOU AXADENTLY SPILL SOME
OR WHEN YOU PUT THE EMPTY SUGAR PACKET DOWN...BAMM THAT GUY WAS ROGHT THERE CLEANING IT THE TABLE.ANYWAYS NOBODY ORDERED SIDE DISHES
EVERYBODY JUST GOT THE SMALL PORTION MAIN DISH.

I think that would be a really cool place to eat! Just don't drink too much with your meds, Tiny. I have been in several of those walk through aquariums and they aren't scary. Very interesting to see the fish from that angle. I've seen the guys in the tanks cleaning them too. Now THAT would be the scary part! By the way, is that a SEA CABBAGE I see floating in the tank? Relative of yours Tiny? I think the SEA CUCUMBER is a relative of mine!

I saw in one of the aquariums where sharks hit the "wall" when they were first released into the water...they scratched it with their teeth, that's it. Not a great white but an 11 foot sand shark - still not SMALL!

We had one follow us when we went through the tunnel in the aquarium...stayed right behind my left shoulder the whole time. I could feel it watching me. :wazzup: Can you say DINNER?!

Then, topside looking down in the tank, when I was standing at the rail, they swam by checking me out...when Bones come up beside me (more meat!), here they came again...creepy!



All that said, I could eat in that restaurant, no problem. Shark is good.....

They are finding mountain lion around here now. Is that good eating? (kitten is VERY GOOD!)

Sand sharks are puppies. An 11 ft shark is not much of a shark. When we would take our cruiser out to Catalina Island you would see hundreds of them that size sunning themselves on the surface. (Assuming it is a calm day)

But when you see a great white - it is a totally different experience. Not a good one either. They eminate power. If one came up to that restaurant - you may enjoy it - but I guaranttee all the restaurant crew would be scrambling to get the hell out of there.

WE used to do that. I used to lease 30 Ft Bayliner in LA - we would go out on calm days find the sand sharks taking in the sun - You turn down the motor and you could easily drift right up to the group. Then we would take aim and shoot em with a rifle or even a hand gun. If you got lucky you would get a couple - Haul em up and make some great shark steaks.

That was when Shark was cheap. Then everyone decided that it was just as good, not better than Swordfish, and whan the price went through the roof.
