Hey, folks... this isn't spam and I'm not bird-dogging, but I saw this on eBay (my shopping source for a lot of VLX mods) and thought this a pretty cool mod. Maybe someone else on here is already offering them, but they're a set of chrome dish wheel covers that makes the rear tire look like it's mounted on a solid rim. Kinda cool, IMHO.

Factory specs for the rear tire on a Shadow ACE are 170/80-15, the same as a VLX. I believe the ACE is also a chain drive... might work for an ACE owner. :biker:

Well, they're out of Trenton, NJ, and I'm just outside of Sacramento, CA. If I was actually working for them that'd be one hell of a long commute. So, no, I have no relationship with them, just an interest in sharing something I found cool (to me) with this on-line community. :idea2:

FYI,
It just so happens that I now own that bike. Steve from Workingclass Choppers originally built it. He lives not too far from me and has a small custom shop in Trenton. I've known him a long time, and is a stand-up guy. The bike needs a little TLC these days, but looks pretty much the same as the photo, except for the Ape Hangers.

In any case, that rear wheel cover is available through Scoot Works. Here is a link to their website:
