Hello Everyone,

I'm wanting to turn my 04 spirit 1100 into a bobber . Does anyone have any advice on what would be the best type of tank to replace the stock one with?

Hey noob, have ya taken the stock tank off the frame yet and taken a look at what is under that thing? Not only that, but the frame itself is not round, but flat square tubing...what I am trying to say is that I doubt you will find a tank that looks good on the frame...unless you go the route of cutting the back bone out and rewelding a new round stock back bone...this is if you are wanting to go with a real old school look...it is NEVER as easy as just bolting up a new tank like you would on a hardley...just something to think about n00b.

Find a man with a welder, cut your stock one up and build one out of the base. Design it how ya want.

I've seen whats under the tank :sad: , I know there is going to be fab involved. I was just looking for a second opinion. I was thinking the sportster peanut tank. Thanks for the welcome.
