hussein wins the nobel peace prize.
shocked Nobel observers because Obama took office less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline.

Rather than recognizing concrete achievement, the 2009 prize appeared intended to support initiatives that have yet to bear fruit: reducing the world stock of nuclear arms, easing American conflicts with Muslim nations and strengthening the U.S. role in combating climate change.

anyone else see this as strange?
he's in office a few months, made some pretty speaches and give shit tons of money to major corporations and a bunch to his brothers country and he wins the nobel prize?

Peace huh.... This was given to Yasser Arafat too, and he literally murdered thousands, if not tens of thousands of innocent civilians. I don't think it looks to good for Obama either considering the last President to win this was Jimmy Carter. (http://almaz.com/nobel/peace/1994a.html)

dude took office in mid jan. he was nominated 2 weeks before the 1 feb deadline. he wasn't in office a week before someone nominated him. then w/o actually having accomplished anything other than spending a monumental amount of taxpayer money and giving pretty speaches,, U.S. deprecating speaches that is, he won.

gore at least made a bull shit movie where his expert had a Phd, rumor has it it was a Phd in hotel managment, but still.

That's why I don't vote. It doesn't matter which asshole wins, you still have to pay taxes and nothing good gets done. It just keeps getting worse. I think its time for another revolution?!?!

Given the membership and their large body of "Special" accomplishments and mediocre at best long term influence on the grand scheme, makes perfect sense to me. The mind pervert, the murdering anti-semite, the inventor of the internet and savior of the world from internal combustion engines, and a the Constitution reversing Socialist, the "Anti-Reagan" (imagine the theme music to the Omen at this point).

While awards are being given out, O'bama should receive the Congressional Medal of Honor. True, he hasn't been in the military. True, he has never been in battle, but look people, we all know that if he were to have enlisted and had gone to battle, he would have been a hero's hero. Let's move congress to get him the medal he deserves. It is only right.

I also read that he watched a football game over the weekend. How abouts we give him a Heisman Trophy? he told Biden he was going to play football for Chicago, but the schedule conflicted with his Acorn work....
