let the shopping begin! I'm scrapping my luggage mod plans for now and getting some engine guards. I like the MC Enterprises full size guards the best. Not too small, but not so huge as the Cobras. Does anyone have these with V&H Cruzer pipes (on any Shadow)? MCE won't say if they'll work (I called them) and I can't find any reviews on the interweb stating one way or the other.

Also, anyone familiar w/fastcycleparts.com? They seem to have the best price on this, but I'm still looking around. If they don't work with my pipes I'll need to return them so that's a key factor in where I buy them.

As soon as these are on the bike, I'll be taking the ERC so I can hopefully learn to better avoid mini van driving whores without going down.

I have, the MC Enterprise guard there's a pic in my gallery. On the bottom it mounts on the inside of the foot peg and provided longer bolts ( not chrome ). On the top it provided U bolts which I taped with black electrical tape to make them "invisible". It is no where near the stock exhaust, the guard extends towards the front wheel. Those pipes follow the lines of the stock exhaust so it should fit.

And DANG Morpheus, nice bag! I almost wish I had a sissy bar to use it with!! You should hang onto that in case you want to take a whole lotta stuff on a longer trip (or a woman and her stuff!)
