Just wondering. I picked it up a month ago. It's great listening to Opie & Anthony with no commercials.

I am too young to have it. Only allowed AM and FM or one rated PG-13

Don't have it but have looked at it. Have the subscriptions for service come down in price? Last time I looked it was about $50/month...could download a lot of MP3's...but it would be nice to have radio on the bike when we're traveling.

A Radio/CD Player on a bike is a godsend, especially if you are touring. Mu Ultra has a stereo system, it is one of the only redeeming qualities of that bike.

We have intercom/cb on the Valkyrie that we can plug an MP3 player into which works pretty well. The players are getting so small I can just slide it in my jeans pocket and rock on!

I'm thinking of adding the J&M unit to my bike so I can have music and talk to Bones when where riding together. The hand signal thing is getting old, plus I only know one... :flipa: :jester:

Howards goin with Serius or however you spell that. I think both are now 12 or 13 a month unless you pay by the year! I wish Bob and Tom would go with XM! I'd get it for sure!

I got it for $9 a month. The receiver was on sale at walmart for 30.00.

I got fed up with him right around the time his movie came out. His show turned into a 4 hour commercial. And his constant whining about how everyone was ripping him off. He hasn't done anything original in years. IMO

But I am glad to see him go to Sirius. Susan is a stockholder.......cha ching

He has addmitted to that alot . I think that it will change with the new open format . I can't wait for them to take the mussle off Artie Lang .

I always thought that Jackie was the biggest part of his show. When he left the show went downhill fast.

No way . All Jacky did was bray like an ass in the background . He had more jokes told about him than by him . I think Artie is 1000% better .

That's the thing, I haven't listened to the new guy. You are probably right. But the endless self-promotion just ruined the show. And all the "Hoo Hooo Robin I did that first, everybody is ripping me off." Got old after a while.

Of course, when you are the trendsetter in something it appears that you are being imitated. He ushered in a new type of radio and for better or worse I'm glad of it. But over the last several years he has seemed to have been going a little insane, literally.
Right now, there are so many funnier shows. Five or 6 years ago he really was the king.

Most of his shows still suck . He harps on all the things he can't do and the politics around it . His show has become an excuse for his show . It can be quite good on occation . Depending on the guest . Willie Nelson is fucking hilarious ! I have been a long time listener and at 0300 hours their is very little else on the radio . I am curious as to what he will do and say on satilite . Also to see if christian groups and republican congressmen and senators will leave him alone . Perhaps they could find some books that need burning instead .
