Add your city/state (city/province) with your username.

Just click on the URL
Search for your city/state (or zip codE) in the box
On the image that pops up click "Save to My Maps" and choose shadowriders.net

You will be able to see people who have added themselves.

If you don't have a google account of any sort, PM me and I will add your location for you.

AFTER you add it, you have to edit the map, find your city, and edit the name.

I've lived here for 20 years and never seen so much water. I had a river 15 feet wide and 7 inches deep flowing through my front yard and over my driveway. Got pretty close to the house, but none inside. Getting home from work that day was not bad at all for me, but some friends spent 2-4 hours getting home because so many roads were shut down or washed away. Most of the major highways were shut down for a few days because the rivers were so high. I'll post up some pics that were taken down the street from my house.

No, in my yard. LOL I got one of those 18ft round pools with the inflatable ring on top. Insta-pool..... just add water. The kids love it so I get to set the damn thing up and take it down every year.

I was just looking around the map and I think Google needs to do an update. Hell, we got a 120,000 sq foot Wal-Mart about to open and it shows trees and fields.

There's 30 or 40 of us that invade Elk River ID (46.46.57~116.10.49) every Veterans Day weekend to get stuck, get hammered, and tear shit up. The pic is of the girls when we got back to camp. We pulled in about 3-4 in the afternoon, and they'd been drinking schnapps since noon. I'm an old fart, but it was a better view than a welcome mat...................:jamming:

Well there are a lot of new posts on the map since I took a bit of a hiatus. Unfortunately, a lot of the pins are added with the city name and not your username. I've gone through and cleaned up the map a bit. Please go back and check it out to be sure that your pin is still there.

It SEEMS like google made a change that makes it a little less intuitive to add yourself to the map. So look around and make sure when you save it that you change the name.

Hey Cheeseman, thanks for this. I finally got it figured out and what I was doing wrong (which could be what others are).

When clicking on the URL on your initial post, then there is a save to my maps link above the edit button. Once I clicked that, it changed that link (the save to my maps) to say bookmarked. Then I was able to search for location, save it to the shadowriders map, and then go back in and edit the location to update username, details, etc.

After you add the point, you have to make sure you go back to the saved point and save your name to it. NOT TO THE MAIN MAP name, just the point that YOU placed on YOUR city.
