Hey all. i just got my 1100 spirits speedo face redone. Check out the attached pic. Man these things really make your bike look custom and we now have them for sale for the honda shadow spirit 1100. I'm working with some really good folks here and were are selling them for a low price because we all know that custom stuff cost right! Well we just want to put some cool stuff out there for little to no mark up. $39.95 plus shipping. So if you are looking to start tricking out your spirit 1100 this winter just let me know and we can hook you and your ride up. We plan on having the 750 spirit speedo dial replacements by Dec..
If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me. Web site coming soon.

I was going for a bee theme since my own 1100 97 spirit is yellow. We currently only do Honda Spirit 1100, Yamaha Vstar 650 and 1100's custom speedo face repalcements.

Let me know what you all think of it.

What about Spirit 750's, Magnas?? I was told that these couldn't be done because the speedo's, and in the case of the Magna, the tach, are sealed units

I know there was someone on one of the forums that had I think an ace speedo done. But not for the faint at heart. Taking apart the unit was not a simple task from what I can recall.

We are working on the spirit 750 as we speak. should have an answer for you pretty quick. Magna's not sure of. These are pretty bike specific speedo face changes. The vstars are the easy ones to do trust me. The spirit 1100 is a snap to get in and out as well.

As soon as we get the 750 ready I will let you know ASAP. That bee one would look good on your yellow bike. So if you have any friends that have Vstar 650 or 1100 we have them ready to go. As well as the spirit 1100. We are working on getting the Ace/Aero custom speedo faces too.

Have you had a spirit 750 speedo apart? What does it take to change the face?

No i have not personally had one apart. But we are getting ready to do a spirit 750 speedo in the next two weeks or so. then We can give full instructions on how you can do it yourself. Just know our speedo faces are NOT paper decals that go over the top. You get a whole new dial face and you get to keep your old as a back up.

Update:
Ok you 750 spirit fans, WE now got our hands on a 2005 750 spirit speedo. WE are going to have do some R&D on it for the next week or two and might have something for you by Thanksgiving at the latest. Could be by this weekend but it all depends on how well it all comes together. So keep your eyes out on this thread. Man those 750 dial faces are huge with lots of room to do some sweet custom graphics on it.
Also here is how we do the vstar speedo's. The 750 is very close to this.

Behind the housing is plain ol' PVC...can be cut with nylon string, but I'd recommend a hacksaw blade. If you do cut it make sure you only cut a quarter inch in depth. Once cut it will prolly have to be rejoined with glue (liquid nails/contact cement?)

Nice touch...but on a personal level....nothing I'd consider unless bOObies were involved/pictured.

I lurk this site alot but have only posted once before this, I am staff on a Suzuki 4x4 website and BBS with close to 2,000,000 hits a month so my time at other boards is somewhat limited. I'll be spending more here though, I've had my Aero since last February and have 16,000 miles on it, so it's time for some mods...anyway: I just wanted to publicly say thanks to these guys, after reading here about their faceplates and surfing into their site, I sent an email and asked for the Coast Guard to be included in the Armed Forces bunch. I half expected to be blown off (it happens alot when asking for Coasty Stuff) but today I recieved an email stating that they would be proud to include my service there. Top of the line company to jump on a request that quickly! Thanks again guys!

Okay all you crazy cats, here's the scoop on the Speedo faces. Taking apart the speedo is not extremely difficult but it is time consuming, yes I did it. I am still waiting for the speedo face, the first one's color was off, I need red flames, but they were a bit on the orange side. I recommend using a small screw driver to slowly pry open the speedo, work your way around. Be ready to bleed and stab your self with the screw driver when it slips. It is a pain in the ass, but better than using a dremmel and cutting it. Once you get it opened enough, it pops out. Be careful to not touch the glass, wrap that part up until you are ready to reassemble. Something about a coating on the inside of the glass and leaving prints, I'm not sure, just don't touch it. It's just 2 screws to remove the face, pop off the big spedometer things, and push out the speedo stop from the underside. Be careful not to pull it out, it might break. Put your new speedo face on, screw it on, not too tight, it can break, put it all back together. I'll post a picture of mine as soon as I get my speedo dial with RED flames.

I've done 2 of them now and it's not that hard. The prying part went much better the second time! Go around a couple of times and do it slow and it goes pretty well. The needle stop is tricky. I broke the first one trying to take it off and the second one trying to put it back on. I would suggest drilling out the hole just enough to slip the stop in and use a drop of crazy glue to hold it. If you do break it, I used a piece of small wire and glued it in. You wouldn't know it if you weren't told about it. As far as the glass face, I covered it and everything and I had a couple of small bits under it anyway. Also the oil tends to flow a little bit and pool. I don't know how to keep it from doing that. Don't blow on the glass from the inside! The prying makes some bits of debris so keep it as clean as possible.

Black background with red flames doesn't work to well. Thank you to Chuck on all of his hard work on this. 3 dials made and the red on the black background just isn't working for some reason. Chuck, I have two extras, I'm going to keep the one since I already ripped my speedo apart, seems silly not to put something else in there. Do you want the other two back? Thanks again for trying.

Brian no just go ahead and keep those other dials. Maybe you have a friend who may want them or sell them to somebody who may want them. Your choice bud. Again sorry we were unable to get that dial just the way you wanted it. Sometimes things like this happen. Yeah i would try the best dial you like and install it. You may be surprised at the out come. Others on here have stated that after they install it it looked really good.

Brian I cant even beleive I didnt remember to tell you this. I know others have acutally put colored bulbs in there bike to get what they wanted. Every think of putting a red bulb into your speedo to get the red color? or some other color bulb to get the effect you want? My buddy didnt like his either till he put a blue bulb in his speedo housing and now he loves it and others now say wow cool blue speedo. Just an FYI.

I didn't change the color of the lights. I was looking it over as I was doing mine wondering how the hell you would ever change a light bulb if you had to. I think they are LED's and it would not be easy to do......... Maybe paint it?

I Had Bad Luck With These. My Dial Warped Inside The Speedo And The Needle Was Getting Stuck. Then It Actually Cracked. I Took It Out And Put The Original In. Waste Of Time And Money! It Never Lived Up To My Expectations And In The End Was Flawed. I Really Wanted It To Work, But It Just Didn't.
