Hey Gang,...
I'm writing in concern over my riding buddies Clutch Cable,... It's frayed right at the clutch control,... When you squeeze it you can see that more than a few of the cables are broken,... And more than likely more will break in the future,... He's ordered a new one,... But is unsure of the install,... Does anyone know if you have to pull the tank to re-route the cable? Any info I will pass on to my brother Stevie,... Thanks Freaks,... Get back to me,... Peace, Love and Motorcycles,...

Make/model Matt? I may have a slice of the manual handy.

More than likely the tank will not have to be removed for replacement BUT the more we know about this machine the more dangerous we become.....heeee heeee bwaaaaaaahaaaaa......sorry, full moon kicked in 8)

Stevie's bike is a 2001 Honda Shadow A.C.E. 750,... It does look like he's going to have to snip and re-attach some zip ties,... And the routing doesn't look that difficult,... But I told him I'd ask you guys,... So what do you think Machinehead?,... If you do have a slice of the manual,... You can E-mail it to me directly at mmackelvie@cox.net and I'll pass it on to Stevie G.... Thanks

When I put the new clutch cable on her bike I just taped one end to the other and pulled it though like pulling wire. Just went REAL slow so I didn't fuck up any wires with the tank on.

Hey Airport,...

I just E-mailed my bud with your idea,... Sounds like a cool little idea to tape the old to the new and just pull it through CAREFULLY,... I'll see him tonight at work,... And discuss it more with him,... Thanks,... Matt (Yellowman)
