What do you have against vets?

You really think it hurts to re-post a simple question?
You could have just NOT replied if it gets you panties all wadded up.

Got my shit blown into the wind at the Golan Heights when the Syrians overran our lonely little outpost...took a round in the face and two in the right chest, all 3 were AP's the one in the face was point blank so it seared a hole the size of a pencil through my skull, the 2 in my chest went in real tiny and came out the back the size of silver dollars.......got a medical and came to the U.S. on a student visa, ended up in the Corps when I was on the verge of getting in trouble for not going to school...served as an advisor to the South Vietnamese Marines during the Easter offensive in the seige of An Loc....8 months 21 days later my shit was in the wind again this time Long Beach Naval hospital.... ETSed active in 75 got an Honorable in 77 after 2 years inactive reserve and earned my citizenship..........thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I never went into the service. But I want to thank each and every one of you for putting your lives on the line for our country. It's brave men and women like you who make this country what it is.

Navy Corpsman (Pecker Checker) 2nd class (FMF/AW) '96 to present. No boat shit; straight sand- expeditionary. 8 Deployments and loved every second of 'em. Doing shore for now and then I'm out. Time for another kind of life. Plus that new GI bill is too good to pass up. Figure I'd get it while I can before they fuck it up or take it back.

Hopefully not. I went to college in the 70's on the G.I.Bill and go to the VA for medical now. Joining the Navy was the smartest thing I ever did. I just didn't realize it at the time.
