Last night went for a ride with my pal. The ride itself was great, nice 55 miles on the back roads, we had a blast. After I got home I noticed my wedding band was missing! The fingerless gloves I wore are a little tight and have had in the past (and in this situation) push my ring half past my knuckle. I never realized I was missing it since I was wearing the gloves. Blessed my little girls heart, she told me that all I need to do is go look all over the street to find it.

Worse ride so far, I am sure the worse ride, if or when it happens, will be one that involves laying down my bike, just hope then I can live to talk about it.

My uncle lost his wedding band when he and my aunt went for a ride about 45 years ago, they pulled off at a turn out and he took off his gloves and the ring flew off, they hunted for hours and hours...never found it. about 10 years ago my cousin "Johnny" went to that same place with a metal detector and damned if he didn't find the wedding band....they had him and my uncle and aunt on that TV show "
thats incredible" over that ring deal....Hey wow, you might be a rerun in the making if you buy your kid a metal detector say in 20 years........

That is amazing! Good for him.

I get all my jewelry from Ganem Jewelers, he is a friend of mine. Looks like I will be stopping in there tomorrow for a new one. His father, who started the jewelery store, has started a new line for bikers, http://www.nightriderjewelry.com/ I am just checking it out for the first time. He is always at all the bike shows promoting it.

Actually my wife is not upset about it, not as much as me. She said it is just a material object. I had it custom made for me: 10mm wide, 14k white gold, non-beveled, comfort fit.

Holy shit. I remember watching the TV show now and again. God I feel old!!

I haven't worn my wedding band for a few years. I was working in a job where it wasn't safe to wear it. Jobs done and just have never put it back on.

I found it! Or I should say the owner of the Chevron I filled up at Saturday night found it when he left! Amazing! I feel so much better with it back on my finger! It has some nice gashes in it but those should get buffed out tomorrow when I go into the jewelers.

Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaw!

Bummer Dude. You should get up tomorrow and go for your longest ride ever. Stop frequently. Take your gloves off everytime. Never look at the ground. Maybe you can undo the evil curse that has been put on you.

lost mine in Hanigans Meadow bout 2 months after we were hitched. It was about 100f down in the valley and we hit sleet i nthe mountains, damn my hands were frozen. Never realized I had lost it until that dreaded ? "where's your ring?". Was kinda hopeing she would send me back up to look for it but no such luck.

Holy Shit!!! That sucks that you found it.... I mean lost it....

I'd keep the gashes, buff 'em down till smooth but keep them there to tell the story!

And I checked out your buddies site. Loved a belt buckle till I checked out the price..... $1400.00???? Not for me....

No doubt! Did you see the supercharged Rocker-C in Hot Bike? Over 5 grand for the kit! I can buy another Shadow for that! Although I still won't have 140 hp even if I bolted the two engines together!
