Their Levees, and Our Levees.....And the richest, most powerful and technologically
advanced nation on earth...USA!!!!!! Go US Corps of Engineers!!!!
Going from Left to Right - Top to Bottom
The first pic is how the British constructed their levee to protect London.
Second Pic is how the Dutch designed their Levee to protect the entire country which is mostly below sea level.
The third pic is what Venice is doing to protect their city from flooding
Last but not least , in the bottom right corner, is the US Version of protecting New Orleans.
Now you tell me politics aint involved.
