Great work Menace. I know how difficult it can be to restore from back ups.
I would hope people would understand that some of their recent posts may be missing. They weren't deleted, just lost between a back up and the time the board went down.
Thanks for your efforts, glad the site is back online!

Wow did the last two days SUCK! On friday I crashed the site! I was lucky to have a backup of the huge database from Thursday. We might have lost a couple of new members so they will need to sign up again (sorry) I have been emailing the server guys because I can't upload a 150mb database becuase they limit it to 64mb. They still have not figured it out! I actually moved to another server with great support and uploaded the database to them and they were able to restore it in minutes. The new server is also faster and provides more space and bandwidth! One other plus, the new server does not run PHP in safe mode which allows the forum to store our pics outside of the database in a folder which keeps it smaller and faster.

I still have to fix the main page and some broken links as well as the garage. At least we are over the big bump in the road and we will be rock solid on this new server for many years to come.

Ya. Good job! I was starting to get withdrawl symptoms. Your back up was good. I got on and got some tips on polishing my lower forks. Who da man?...You da Man!

You had us nut cases worried for a bit. I figured it was something that Peg posted that caused the site to crash... VERY VERY happy to see you got things fixed and running again.

I've been shaking violently since I couldn't get on the site! I figured I posted something that was too bad like the balls in the ass video and got myself kicked off! Tiny told me that would do it. What does he know? He's just a cabbage!

An inside source has informed API that the crash of 05 was perpetrated on purpose by two members of the Forum. Pegs and Menace. The Inside Source has revealed that this was a covert attempt to get rid of all the members, allowing Peg and Menace to have total control of the fourm.

An Independent Investigative Counciil will be called by Congress to investigate this matter.

He would get my vote for that as well. Still what he is doing to you guys makes no sense at all.

Well I shotgun out your plight to about 40 friends and business assoc in NY. Just about all replied that they would send emails, and spread it to all their friends as well. If one of those emails gets to the right kind of person, it may be the tipping point and start an avalanche.
