Well... I have done a bit of work to it since I got it, Lowered it 5 1/2 in the rear, Progressives in the front, Lowered the front fender 3/4 of an inch, Apes, Turn signals, Flush mount LED tail light, Jardine pipes (Gutted W/ home brew baffles) K&N Air filter, Ram Air Kit, Re-jetted... The list goes on.. I took her for a ride yesterday up through Angelas Crest Hwy.. Just wanted to share the nice 75* weather here in So. Cal with you guys :jamming:
Hope you enjoy..

Hey rugby, don't be scared about going with apes.. once you do, you will never go back.. I put apes on my 88 and when I sold it I had to start over with stockers.. Needless to say that was short lived.. I got another pair of drag bars and didnt feel quite right still, then some beach bars which looked cool as hell, but still didn't feel right. 1 week later, apes and I feel like I'm right at home again.. I know 4 pairs of bars in 3 weeks is crazy, but I love my apes..

ya i probobly will the next things in order are side mount with light, seat then the bars, just finished hole saw today after fucking around with a battery for a while that wouldnt charge so it only allowed me to get one pipe done at first then i decided to go out and ride anyway and i sounded fucked up like only one cylinder was running but everything is down and im on here now drooling over all the different things i can do when i have some money after school

Hey 88, do you ever ride 2 up on yours. If so, does the side mount lp get in the way of the passenger? The bike looks great.

I do.. It is just behind her foot, out of the way, but behind it none the less. There is plenty of room for it and the passenger to move around though.
