That's why I think I could get one to fit my ACE. I might need to mod but if I could get one that fits without mod would be preferred. HD has them for $199.

looking at that seat you could probably mod it to fit the ACE seat pan.. thats a really good idea... I may have to save my pennies for this

You would really have to see the bottom of the seat to tell for sure. I tried to mod a sporty seat to fit my ace, but the curve of the frame was wrong, and it wouldnt secure down enuff. I tried to force it, but to no avail- you might call emm up and see if they sell a universal chopper seat that you mod mounts up for yourself. but I would think that one could find pics on the net of the bottom of that seat. Ours have that little lip that secures it under the gastank...

Those are awesome looking seats.. you will pay out of the ass for them though. I looked on ebay at one of those harley seats and there is a pic of the bottom.. looks close enough to me.. might have to do some foam tweaking to fit it to the ace pan but I think its doable.. and about 300$ cheaper then a mustang seat

I can do the leather tooling myself, I am customizing an ACE, I did the mod where you shave the stock seat fowm down and it still aint doing the deed, think I am going to make me up a lil seat pan an make a seat for it, havent really decided yet, but the tooling on those seats isnt that hard to do, been doing it for years on arm bracers and watchbands, belts and shit, used to sell tehm in my tattoo studio. was thinkning bout using this old street seign and triming it down to fit the bends of the frame , then putting one of them gel pads on it, then pulling a piece of leather across that and stitching the leather to the seat, I will post pics of it when done, I dont like keeping up with prgress pics, so when it done you see it.

I had what they called a Mustang King/Queen seat that I bought for my sportster back in 1989. That was the best seat I ever had. The seat wrapped around my ass like it was made for it. It also went pretty high up my lower back. Back then the Mustang seats were just under $200.00....LOL. Now they must stuff them with gold.

I have shaved my seat now 3 times and have yet to make it comfortable. The last thing I have tried is to take a 2 inch chunk out of the middle where I actually have most of my weight and fill it back in with a memory foam pillow fit to the hole.. still not the best but better then it was to begin with.
