Two questions just for general interest?

1. What is the highest number of miles y'all have seen on a Honda Shadow with the original engine (not overhauled) and transmission.

2. What is the highest mileage on any Honda Shadow?

i think bujeezus (jezz) over at TSW has somewhere near 100,000miles on his and he rides the shit out of it.

I just crossed over the 50,000 mile mark on the 88 vt1100. Might be overhauling it soon though.

Have 15,000 on an 07 750 that I bought new in March of 08.......Thats the most I've seen with my own eyes.....

lot of fresh miles. If I continue at the rate I'm on (18,000 per year) I'll be at 100K in less than three years.

My co worker has 68.000 on his 02 750 Spirit. No problems what so ever.

i have a little over 74000 on my 2000 vlx and havent had any problem

Mine is at the 8,600 miles mark, it is the only one I know with the highest miles on it.

Someone I know had a Goldwing with over 150k miles on the original engine when they sold it.

Good numbers 50,58,68,74 & 100,000.

Looks like the key is to ride frequently........

Mine just turned over 11, 000 and its an 03. The 05 my brother in law just picked up has a little over 23, 000.

My 03 ss has just over 12,000 on it now, but my boss has a 91 nighthawk 750 that has been dropped twice, once bc the old basterd got hit by a deer and a second time bc he was riding in the snow . . . its got 102,000 on it

I used to ride with a guy on an RC51 that had over 100K on it when some dumb ass bitch came through a light, in the left hand turn lane none the less, because she got "tired of waiting for the light to change" Stupid fucks are everywhere.. If your bike stays rideable, a honda motor will take you anywhere and everywhere you ever wanted to go (and then some)
