The staggered jets are because of the firing order and heat from what I understand.

yes i know how much the filters cost, they run around $26 to $27 depending on where you buy them at. i'm not trying to rip anyone off. the couple of people who have bought them i told them that i purchased the filters and it states right in the post that i have to purchase the filters themselves. the actual piece that mounts to the bike i have to hand fab all of it. it takes several hours to cut it all out and get it fitting just right. before i even set a price for it, i spoke with omega and his suggestion to me was $150.00. so add $13 into that for the price of a flat rate box and that is what i came up with.

The filter is less than 30.00 (I have one) and 2 sheets of metal ($10.00 @ homeDepot) and about 1/2 to make. Unless youre doing something out of the ord for the mounting... shouold not take as long as you state. I am sure you have a jig made already if not... let me know and I will sell you mine.

thanks for the offer for the jig, but since yourself and 2pwrlftrs4u wanna question why i charge some much i'm not gonna make anymore. i don't need the headache or harassment from it. i'll finish up the 2 that i already have and ship them out.

also to answer your question, there is a piece in the center to offset the front and back pieces. you have to have it in order to keep it from sucking air through the sides.

It might only take 1/2 hour to make, but you also take into consideration the time in takes to get filters, time to get the metal, time/money it takes to pack and post and wear and tear on equipment/tools.

In this day and age, people are out there to either make money or help someone out.

I think Woody is doing what most of us on here could do but there is alot more that can`t.The one`s that can`t make them would be glad to buy and install.I would def. try to make a lil money for my time as he is doing.I don`t know prices of aftermarket but a new breather ass. that bolts on and looks cool should be worth that.Just my .02.

Just take a look at the stuff we buy for our bikes and after we get it we say,Fuck,I could have made that for way less than that.It`s the way life goes.If someone wants something they will give it for it,and as our Auggie bro. stated,if you think it`s too much than pass on it.Take my fork spikes for instance,I have 3 bucks in the spikes,shipping,bolts that i had in bolt bin,my time to make,plus shipping to the buyer.I wouldn`t sell them less than 30 bucks or you could go buy the real ones for 70 plus shipping.I`m just saying.

well you know unfortunately people are entitled to their opinion; and if that's is what they want to think, its fine. but its just a headache that i don't need. does the set up work great, yes it does. does it look cool as hell hanging off the bikes, yes it does. but i just refuse to get into another argument with someone on the internet over something petty. i mean hell, hasn't that gone on enough around here over the last week.

i tell you what, since you think you are so smart. go to any machine shop and try to get stuff made and watch and see how much they charge. most machine shops around here charge a fortune for milling work. so i challenge you and the other 2 guys to go buy the material, find a machine shop, and pay them to make it. then we will see how much it costs.

now why is it that i am the only person who is being questioned about the price of something. because other people on here that make and sell things i don't see them being asked questions when its obvious that some of the things can be purchased at other website for cheaper prices.

If you look online at any aftermarket air breathers your going to pay over 200 dollars. And the majority of these hypercharges and other aftermarket air breathers half to have special mounting brackets that can range from 50-70 bucks. Plus I think Woody's cleaners look sexy as hell.
