1100 Ace Questions..........

My riding Buddy is looking at a 1100 Ace. Anyone have any experience with this bike? I ride a Ace Tourer and it has the dual crankpin. We need some info on the single crankpin Ace. Is it as dependable as the dual? Any known problems with this engine? ANY info on this bike would be appreciated

Rick,
They are just as reliable, but with a more Harleyesque exhaust note. They don't make as much power as the dual-pin engines and there is a little more vibration, but it's not a nuisance. They have hydraulic adjusters on the valves like the dual-pin engines and most everything else is the same. A good bike in my opinion.
