Clint - maybe that search button in the upper righthand corner of the page should be a blinking fluorescent color......... ;-)

Just busting balls...:wink_2: Try getting hold of Olapanrider. He can probably send you an entire list of parts.

No problem, glad he could help ya out.
I think what it is with the 21" swap is that there are no hard and fast rules as far as parts go. There are so many aftermarket manufacturers out there that there is no way to get a definite parts list together. That's why I suggested getting hold of him and he might be able to give you a list of what he has anyway. That would at least ge you in the right direction.

I was reading up on the harley wheel swap and figured I would post a link to a website that sells aftermarket spoked wheels. They have some awsome looking wheels.
Next year I plan on moving up to more than likely a 750 spirit and will probably install the 100 radial spoke wheel. Check'em Out! Here is the link for anyone interested. http://americanwirewheel.com/

21" rim is installed. Made the spacers today at my buddies machine shop and presto!. Was also able to make stock speedo drive work with a little Dremel action. It will be off a little but I can deal with that. Check it out.

Thanx FF. The cool whip container was a brake line drip tray. But in its previous life it was part of my desert!

Looks good man. It would appear that by using the '99 and earlier wheel, the honda speedo drive fits. The spacers for my later model wheel were 'bout a 1/2 inch on each side. Good job - I'm glad it all worked out for ya.........

looks great! how much did your rim end up costing?

I got the rim from Olpanrider for $80 plus shipping..I think it came to $125.(with a tire..BONUS!) Then I Dremeled the speedo drive to fit the Harley hub.Next I bought some aluminium spacer stock at a metal supply store...cost $8. My buddy let me use his lathe to turn it to size, so that was free. Also while I was at the lathe I made some spacers to shim my caliper over about 5/8", and turned my axle down to 3/4". Assembled everything making sure all axle spacing is good. Also while I was at it I polished all spacers,speedo drive and fork lowers.
Total Cost=$133 Parts
Labour= maybe 10/12 hrs
Looks=Very Nice
P.S. Forwards, raked trees(maybe Billskis, I have to wait and see his new ones), new set of bars,and paint next! (Winter Project)

that's a good price- does he sell them or just the one he had? bucanan's wanted 650 bones just to lace 21 up to the factory hub.

Dave that was a spare that I had picked up. I flipped it for what I had in it. Just trying to help a brother out and maybe he do the same for somebody in the future. I normally try and treat people like I'd want to be treated. We gotta stick together ya know - it's a small world, even if JD lives in Canada and I'm in Texas :-)
oh BTW, take your time on ebay and you'll come across a deal ya like that someone took off for a custom set up. Let me know if ya find something and I'll email ya a quick how to.............
