Aero Guy

Here's what min-bullet turn sigs (these use bulbs, not LEDS) look like on the Aero. I did these before the front signal mod. It really cleans up the rear of the bike. This, along with my plate mod, give the rear a more sleek look IMO.
I picked these up at a local stealer for $30. They are by Drag Specialties. Simple install. Remove the fender rails, cut wires to exisitng signals, use hex wrench to remove bolt that holds stock signal.
Rather than have a nice clean hole left, there is a hole and to rounded slots left on the rail where the stock sigs were installed. You can use a washer to cover them up or just leave them uncovered. I left mine uncovered as it is barely noticeable.
Wire the positive lead from the bikes wiring to the single lead of the bullet signal light. Ground the other wire from the wiring harness to the frame (I attached an eyelet to the ground wre and grounded it to the bolt of the turn signal).
YOU WILL NEED A LOAD EQUALIZER once you install these to slow down the flashing rate(you'll need the 4amp Kuryakyn turn signal load equalizer). If the fast rate doesn't bother you, then you can leave it be as it won't harm anything.
Here's the finished product:
