NONE!!!, it's either stock, stock with holesaw mod or aftermarket loud. However V&H offers a quiet baffle for their Aftermarkets.......

I would make a wild ass guess that the V&H Straight Shots with quiet baffles I have on my bike are about 4-5 dB (30-50%) louder than stock.

I'd try the hole saw first ,then if you didn't like it get the V&H's, unless you don't like the stockers! ,just my .02 BOB.

I punched mine out a few times with a 5/8" sharpened steel rod. It's got a nice rumble and it was even enough of a difference that I had to adjust the air/fuel mix screws for poppin' on decel. A bit cheaper than buying a new exhaust....for now anyways.

i just got a 96 ace and wondered about the hole-saw mod. i did the mod on my vlx and loved the effect. i noticed the ace has dual carbs and i have no idea where the a/f screw is to adjust it, will i need to after the mod or will it be like with the vlx which i didn't need to do anything after i moded it?

either way you some you do and some you don't. change'em / cut into'em and find out. it's really the only way your going to know noober. you will probably have to do a slight adjustment.
