I went down to our local car show today, didn't get to take the bike but had to take the kids down.
Anyway, some cool shit there,
What could be more fun then a 400 horse bright mother fuckin' yellow hotrod?

Turns out the guy is a friend of my Dad's from years back, so, I may get to go for a ride. He says it gets a little sketchy around 140 mph but what the hell. I gotta try that! Definately not my style, but one hell of a toy.

It's not custom built, it's from a company called "Lightning V8 Motorcycles" and quite frankly, it's a complete pile of shit! as I've said a thousand times, just because something can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. These things have been around for years and have received exactly the recognition they deserve, NONE!; they were not designed, they were simply built, no consideration for proportion whatsoever; Why on earth would anybody spend thousands of dollars on one of these abortions, when the same thing could be accomplished with $500.00, and a stick welder?
A pile of shit is a pile of shit, no matter how brightly it is painted.

Ouch..... yeah it is a kit. I know that. But he did paint it and build/assemble it himself. The motor he did from block up. It really isn't much different then Paul Jr. and the gang do. Assemble off the shelf parts. Could the average Joe scratch build one of these that will do 140 mph safely? I doubt it.....
He has other bikes, he just built this one to cruise long distance on with his wife and their gear. Like I said, not my style, but the fact of a 400 horse 350 in something that light turns me on.

It's just the whole to each his own thing. I wouldn't want it, don't care for the looks, but can sure appreciate it for what it is. It is a motor on some tubing and a 9" rear end. What motor head can't appreciate the fact that it was built to be an insane creation, not a work of art? Every guy with a car that wants to go fast wants two things, more power and less weight. Bingo..... this thing hits the nail on the head.
If I wanted to build a bike for looks, you Apache are a guy I would turn to for advise and help. I gotta say that, I like your style but you sure come down on others some time.

Yeah I know, I like what I like and I never seem to hesitate to criticize things that I don't like, I recognize this as a character flaw, and I am working on it.............whew, glad that's out in the open! what do I owe ya for the counceling session?
But seriously, I really am trying not to be so critical of other people's stuff.
