Handle Bars and Shocks ?

I recently got an 03 750 ace. Was curious if there is a short shock from another bike you could use to lower the rear. I know I can buy a new one or a lowering kit(not the quetion)

Also, my arms are short, I have to reach for the bars. Which bar or riser would be best to bring the bars back 2", would I have to change the cables?

You can get shorter shocks. The cheapest would be harley shocks a little mod is needed. As risers go you can get aftermarket or get SS risers.

As risers go you can get aftermarket or get SS risers. +1 on the shocks and risers or you could buy someones spirit shocks here and cut the coils. not sure if the spirit risers are different from SS ones but I know some guys have used those on ace for 2 ins. of pullback. 03 ace huh? good choice.

I think there is a mod to cut the ace shocks down but if I remember it's a pain to do.

i am not sure what shocks you have....i changed mine out on spirit to the aero shocks they are shorter lowered back end 1 1/4 you can find them on ebay for around $40 i think it was

And thanks for the compliments. I got it in late April from my neighbor. He moved to a road king. We have put on just over a thousand miles sence bought. It has stage one jets, pipes, Just did the seat grinding mod, has the higway pegs and the chick seat and sissy bar. Checked mileage 3 weeks ago and we were getting 52.22 mpg. That was with Me momma and gear in the bags.

I Like it with the solo seat, momma just cant hold her balance on the fender;]
