I've been looking at bikes and wanting to switch up to something bigger. I'm really liking Victory bikes. I'm doing some google searches on fit and finish, quality etc. Just wondering if anybody here has riden, owned, or know anybody who owns one.

The two I'm interested in are the Jackpot (orange) and the Vegas 8-ball (black).

My friends dad has one and I can tell you they are a fine crafted machine. In my opinion much better than harley. I have not riden one but they are a fine machine in looks, finish and sound.

I think the jack pot is my next bike. I heard if you have a helmet and a license you can go for a test ride on one. might be worth it.

My Cousion Has The 8 Ball, It's A Nice Bike And Well Built. I've Ridden It Quite A Few Times And Enjoy It Every Ride. Either Bike Is A Good Choice As Long As Your Keeping The Spirit. He also owens a HD Wide Glide and i like the 8 ball better. It's just funner to ride.

The Jackpot would be my first choice, but up here in Canada, they're going for $ 20,000, plus taxes. At that price, I'd have to trade the spirit in.

And yes, you can take them for a test ride. They're really pushing to get these bikes on the road.

They also are coming with a kick ass warranty now. 5 years I believe! That's enough to make me want to buy one. Their dealer network is growing constanly. Everyone that I have talked to that owns one loves it! I ran across a guy that had one of the first year victory's and said he had no problems at all, and that he traded in his Harley for it.

Yup, I haven't heard or read one bad thing about them yet. I'm looking for a used jackpot now, and the only one I could find is in Rochester, NY and they still want $13,900 US.

They cost too fuckin much money. Too many nice metrics for half the money.

Acutally, the fury, which compares to the 8-ball, is the exact same in the US - $12,999.

In Canada, the 8-ball is $15,00 cheaper then the fury.

that green one is kick ass. i think it looks really good in those colors. if i was gonna buy an american bike, i would pick the victory over the harley any day.

I have to say a buddy down the road has one and i`ve road it tippsie and sober, scared the shit out of me tipsie and had trouble getting used to the lean sober.Seems to me that it leans more to the left with the big back tire and the torque.May just be something a guy has got to get used too.All and all a very nice bike with all kinds of balls and then some, great looks to go along.Too used to the SS i guess!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my next bike will be a Victory. My bro's brother inlaw owns the dealership here and will get me a hell of a deal. It will be while though before I can slip that past the wife. A looooooonnnngggg while.

And my boss's son just bought himself a Triumph rocket. Sent out pictures of him on it with a scared shitless look on his face outside the dealership. Caption underneath read "I haven't been this nervous since I lost my virginity." That is one hell of a machine....

That triumph is a killer.

Hey TI 3VOM, how about hooking me up with a deal and I'll ship it from BC to Toronto. ;-)<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_149978", true); </SCRIPT>

I agree. They are nice if you have the money to waste. I get the same enjoyment out of my $3200 bike, that the other bikers get out their overpriced scooters.
