I just changed my air cleaner and noticed that it was wet with what appears to be gasoline (not the air cleaner but the box itself was wet0. Anyone know what causes this?

Not Sure What Causes It But I Think It Is Normal...

A small amount I believe is considered normal. Now if there is a puddle in there that I would consider a problem. But a light film I wouldn't worry about.

Yeah its just a light film, I also did a search on this topic and read that it is normal for oil/gas to be released there if the crankcase tube is blocked. Gotta check my manual for specifics though. Thks

I had really bad gas in my airbox last night.... Oh, sorry. That is off topic. I've always had some gas in my airbox when I take the cover off. Isn't there a crankcase vent tube that goes to the airbox? That would cause it.

There is supposed to be oil/gas in the airbox. Theres a clear pouch on my 04 aero. I have to empty it ever few thousand miles. The manual says it fills up if you ride at high speeds for extended period of time, or you gun it alot.

Nothing to be concerned about.
"Blow-by" fumes are re-inserted into airbox for enrichment.
Maintenance requires that you periodically drain the airbox via the plug at the frame.
(Usually near the kick stand)
A service manual will affirm this.

i had an airbox fulla fuel when i first got my 600, nasty old fuel too. seemed like too much to be normal. turns out that it was running really rich and flooded because of the "blow-by" machinehead talked about. if there alot, check your mixture...
