I am sooo psyched, I got a 37 tooth steel sprocket from one of the guys on here and can't F-ing wait to get the puppy installed :grin::grin::grin:

I'll try to get my take on the before and after. I'll step through the gears and record the mph at shift point for each after the change, etc. etc.

WoooooooooooooooooooHooooooooooooooooooo!!!

I bought my bike used and it already had one on it. I didn't know it at first and on other forums they were talking about this buzzy feeling and I didn't have that at all. I started looking at my sprocket and cross referenced numbers and found out that I have a 37t. I can't imagine what it would be like with a stock sprocket, but I don't want to find out either. I have to feather the clutch a little on take off. Other than that it's just the same as any other bike I have ridden.

I put mine on last year. It helped in the mpg a little. A little more throttle taking off. I do miss the second gear wheelies though.

I road with a guy this week that had a Shadow 750 Areo. Not sure if it was because of my sprocket, but he could leave me while in 5th. I had to down shift to catch him. But the up side was at 104 miles, I was putting in 2 gallons of gas to his 2.5 gallons!
