Today on the Bob and Tom show, they are talking about the best excuses for calling in sick. The best one I heard was the gal that didn't show up for work on Thursday or Friday but came in on Monday to work. They tried to get a hold of her but couldn't. She said she was carjacked and locked in the trunk all weekend and didn't report it to the police!
I used to be the manager of a carpet store and had one installer call me saying he couldn't make it to work. I asked him why he couldn't come in and he replied he couldn't remember where he parked his van! (A little drug problem there!) That was his LAST call to me!
