about a seller shipping you something that you have paid for?

sent pay pal on the 30th.

seller says he'll ship as soon as money clears.

it cleared and is in the sellers account on the morning of the 5th and i have not hear from him since 1 May.

would you be concerned at this point?

Yeah I would. I would at least expect some kind of feeback from him. I always try and email or PM people to let them know that I have shipped.

Depends....did he say it'd be coming on a slow boat from China?....P.M. the person and ask for a shipping/tracking #...if no response within 24hours, then look into contacting credit card company about theft of services/goods.

its only been a day since the money made his account? i wouldnt worry yet. just email and ask for tracking info. how far away is it? it can take up to 10 days of shipping so give it some time. you cant even file a greivance with paypal for 30 days.

Paypal is not a fucking check...there is no need to let the money clear. Once payment is sent, and he files it...that's it, its his and that shit can happen within the same say of payment.

I've seen people get shaken up cuz days pass where people don't update or get back, and eventually it ends up that everything turned out well, but that shit pisses me off. If your going to take some time to send something out, just be up front about it so the person waiting isn't stressing about what the hell is going on. IDK, you can wait till Friday, but my ass would def complain by than.

debit card wouldnt work for payment dunno why so i jsut had the money taken directly out of my account which took a few days to go to his account, kinda like waiting on a check to clear. he said he couldnt ship untill he had the money and i had no issue with it... even now agree with him 100%. but he did tell me he'd ship as soon as he had the money. i even sent him $25.00 more than asking price to help with shipping. i have sent PM's but have not gotten a reply.

i really hope it comes down to him being really tied up and i hear from him soon.

I once bought an Ipod from a guy in Canada (ebay) and after three weeks I had had enough waiting around for him to ship it; I managed to convince myself that "this fucker stole my money" so I sent him a hate letter....the next day I received the Ipod; I'm such an asshole!

I have had no comunication from some sellers and the goods just arrive and on the one deal where we were stiffed for a $4000 camera the seller kept email contact until I had the police involved. By the way inspite of that being felony level $$ theft there was nothing done and the case was dropped. It was complicated and very maddening. Bottom line, try to buy from people or dealers with a good history and realize when you don't you are totally at risk. Craigslist where you actually go get the item makes some sense........

It was very difficult. The girl involved lived in Michigan but the people that ran the scam and hired here were out of the country. I was ticked at her but couldn't get anything done legally and as she really didn't have my money any other action seemed vengeful and kind of stupid. I was not alone in this deal as others were also taken. Finally it was just live and learn an take the loss off my taxes.......
