Been pretty interesting and they're all excited about it which is pretty cool. We're suppposed to all meet up this weekend and see each other in person for the first time.

Yeah, they all live in the next county over near Tyler. This whole time we've only lived about 30 minutes away from each other.
Father is supposedly a race car driver from Tennessee but don't know who he is yet. They never married and split before I was born. Hoping to find that out soon enuff.

I've met my uncle face to face. He came by the house day before yesterday and we talked for a while. He's really cool. I've talked to my aunt on the phone and she's very outgoing and excited. May be meeting her and her kids tonight for dinner. Still haven't been able to talk to my mom yet but the plans are to all meet at her house Saturday (tommorrow).

I was supposed to call and tried calling my mom last night at home but only got an answering machine. It took me about 10 minutes just to hit dial after I keyed in the number. I had no idea what I was going to say. :tongue2:

Well, we all met for dinner tonight. Everyone made it - uncle & family, aunt & family, grandmother, half sister and my mom. It was cool as hell and everything went great. We ate at a nice Mexican resteraunt then all went back to my moms house and hung out for a while catching up on things. They were all great people and fun to be around. Had a great time and supposed to go back over tommorrow and spend the day with them. Said they'd really like to continue with the new relationship and be a family if I was ok with it so that was really cool.

When my mom first showed up, u could tell both of us were pretty nervous but once we started talking, the tension was gone and things went great. She's very cool and seems really happy and excited about it. Said she was worried I was going to be mad at her. It was eery meeting her for the first time and realizing how much we're alike in both looks and personality.

I cant express the joy I'm feeling for you. That is truly a beautiful story. It's so wonderful for you also because you can learn more about your family history. If you look at me and look at my family, sometimes I thought I was adopted......no such luck :happy: :wink_2: The fact that the WHOLE family got together to meet you, makes it even more special.
