I usually go right after the rally. Get deals on stuff as the venders are leaving and plenty of places to stay.

My fiance and I are considering putting it into our 'honeymoon' roadtrip.

pretty decent ride from here me and a few friends have been tossing the idea around

if you do it plan on staying outside of a 100 mile radius cause finding a place can be very difficult. Even if you find a place everything from camping spots to motels charge about 3x the normal rate. I lived 3 hrs away for 20 yrs. We stayed at home and went up from there.

Hell ya me and one of my buddies will be there, the band, Blackstone Cherry is really kickass. I have seen them before.
