View Full Version : Think I could modify this turn signal set-up?

I was just wondering if you guys think I might be able to rig this LED turn signal set-up (made for a VTX) to fit my 03 Deluxe....website here: http://www.customdynamics.com/honda-vtx_motorcycle_led_turn_signal_lights.htm

Any ideas on what I might need to do? I was thinking I might have to trim the rear fender up a bit, but then again I am not an expert at this.

I understand SS Rider makes the same type of deal...and I have messaged him. I did search a bit before posting. But my question was do you think it is possible to take what that site offers and modify it to fit my ACE.

But my question was do you think it is possible to take what that site offers and modify it to fit my ACE.anything is possible, however it might not be probable. depends on the material they used and if you could re-bend it or not. also remember your fender sits lower than a vtx will people see those or not? something else to consider... just my .02

Yes, I know. I know I will either have to cut my fender up or modifying the fender so that the LEDs could be seen through it (cutting a slit in it under the tail light).

Doesn't make much sense right now but if I don't hear back from SS Rider then I will probably just get the LEDs (the flexible ones from that site) and figure it out from there.
