factory paint problem

I bought my bike in august of last year. I've got 1900 miles on it and I have noticed that on the seen of the tank near the trees there are chips in the paint. and it is only on one side. I can not see any way that any thing could hit it there. So what I am asking is has any one had problems with the factory paint and do you think honda will go good for it?

try it def. i work for honda on the auto side. honda gives away more shit under warranity and out of warranity then you would beleive. shit that shouldn't be covverd they will take care of. i hope that they will they are exteamly big on cust satisfaction. cust sat is truly # 1. knowing that i would try it you might have to call the higher ups above the dealer but so what they probably have a 1 800 # to call to get an answer but i would def try it. what's it going to cost ya?

Its just starting to piss me off. Every thing on this bike is starting to pit rust. I will call and see what they can do.
