I just bought a 2002 Spirit 750 and I want to know what would be the "fattest" rear tire I could mount on the stock wheel without major modifications?

the metzeler 200series me880 has been cleared by metzeler to go on our stock rim...but i think putting on the vtx rim would be better

I just put a ME880 200/70/15 on stock rim...I think it looks pretty good...also 1.5 inch lowering kit...

Yes, that is on stock rim..Handles excellent , and in my opinion looks way better. I have the old one hanging on the wall in my garage and it looks soo small compared.
