I have 2003 ace,I was wondering if i could get any pictures of the right ones to do what i need. They must be throw overs, and all leather. Why i don't know what to do is, i have seen some really awful looking bags . They are either to small to large...way to deep. Does anybody have a bag on their bike that fills the bill?
i didn't mean awful---just not the right looking bag for the 03 shadow. any help at all will be greatfully appreciated.:grin3: bsa_bob

It takes some deep thought to get the right ones. Measure where you will install them. How much you need to pack and how much you will use them.
I have 2 sets. 1 set is aussy saddle bags (for horses) for packing smaller stuff.
1 set is larger when I will be away for more than a day or for shopping. Slanted bags are nicer looking,
Look for the features you want myself I like the quich opening bukle.
Leather is nice but don't let that limit you.

Where are you going Bob? Or do you just need big enough bags to carry your attitude?

I know of two stores around here that have a variety of bags, and they will let you bring them out to your bike and throw them over as long as you give them collaterall, like a drivers license. Might want to try that, or if they don't directly offer it you could always ask.

There is a discount saddle bag place in ohio, i have seen them advertised on the web.But i don't want to take a fruitless trip. There are no stores to go to, around detroit. that i know of.

I have a 02 A.C.E. and i had the same problem. So after looking @ alot of bags i went with the Willie & Max Raptors (compacts) they measure 12" W x 9 1/2" H x 5 1/2" D and have a real clean look i will put some pics up this week. And they were only $95 from the place i buy from www.xtremerevolution.com

They are synthetic leather. And they won't show up if you put in shadow ace. Just click on Willie and Max. They are universal with zip of yokes. Very nice bags with a clean look.

Here's some all leather ones that look promising. Scroll down to get to the ones without rivets. http://www.carolinaleatherworks.com/newquicrelwi.html
