spent the day tearing down tires on my other bike (Ducati) and am going to get the rims powder coated red.

Anybody give me a rough idea of what to expect cost wise? I already tore down the wheels, just curious of what you might think something like this will run?

Let me know if you have had this done in the past

Thanks fellas

Just an estimate, but up here; your left arm, right nut, first born, and most of your kids' college fund. That's the going price for chroming around here. Let me know if you find a good price on powder coating. All the shops in my area (and there's a bunch) are only interested in volume. That may have changed though with all the recent plant closures.

Wow! That's not bad at all. They're ten minutes away from me and I've never heard of them (been a long time since I checked into getting anything done, but shows you what I know...).

Try these guys http://www.fireballcoatings.com/images/stories/headers/powder-coating_header.pngoption=com_content&task=view&id=6&Itemid=15 (http://www.fireballcoatings.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6&Itemid=15) a lot of the guys in the Toronto F-body club have used them for header coating and they do good work, they're in Erin Ontario.

I have my wheels, hubs, and rear fender struts at the powder coater right now and the guys saying $300. But he kinda had alot of work to do as far as taping up the spoke holes and all the threads and stuff

Just dropped them off for coating. Found a local place here for $45 a rim. Now these are 3 spoke, cast rims (similar to that of a CBR) - Every colour you could imagine....I will post pics once done....even though its not my SS750
