I have a multimeter. Is there some way to check RPMs by amps or wattage without having to install a tach?

No. Unless your multi meter is an automotive multi meter and has a dwell setting.

Do you have it in original packaging with instructions? What model and can I see a pic? Looking for chrome one with white face at a minimum.

i not sure of the face color but i get some pics on here pretty sure its not what you looking for thou cause it only cost me 69 bucks a yr ago and i just trying to give someone a tach at a cheaper price
