Looking to replace the stock 750 spirit headlight bucket with a Flamed Headlight Bucket.

Does anyone have a source that sells one for the 750 Spirit?

You can pretty much buy any single bolt headlight you want and then use the bracket from Jireh Cycle part# 11-40 to bolt it up.
Or drill the triple tree......

What we are concerned about is that the 750 Spirit has a double bolt system. Not sure if we can get a good solid mount with just one bolt system.

It looks like we might have hit a dead end for finding a flame bucket for the Spirit 750. Now we are trying to find someone who has a different headlight that we could replace the existing stock headlight. That is proving difficult as well.

Replace the stock headlight with whatever you want. Get the single bolt mount. That's what the jireh part number is. It's a headlight mount that goes from the two bolts to one. It's designed just for that. Lots of guys are using that with their aftermarket headlamps.
I did the same thing AirportFF did to Susan's bike and drilled out the LED signal bar to mount my headlight. But had I gone the other route, I'd have used the part from jireh cycle.

I relayed this to our guy who oversees most of our mod installations.

He replied that that part would not work because the bucket that we are looking at doesn't have a stud mount. That bracket is for a stud mount. Unless we can find a stud mount to put onto the bucket, it won't work. We need a bracket that looks like the one that we have minus the back attatching point.

I'm lost at this point. Does his point make sense or is he missing it?

I've also seen headlights mounted using our stock bracket. The use of shims/spacers to make up the space to the bottom mount on the headlamp itself. You may want to look at that option. Do you have a picture of the bucket you are trying to use?

You can mount that up no problem.I used the same type mount just used rubber plumbing washers on both sides and attached to stock mount no vibration in the light.Or you can drill a hole in the tripple tree and bolt it up.

Thanks everyone for the help. I think I got our guy straightened out on how to do it based on all your recommendations.

Glad to hear, that'll mount up to our stock headlight bracket with some spacers/shims and a good suggestion on the rubber to dampen vibration. That light will also work with the mount from jireh cycles. It's got a single bottom mount that it comes with. The mount is identical to the one I have on my bike.

You can also use this bracket.

Which you can find here.

Thanks, we were looking at that very thing last night. (The Clamp Corpsgrinder posted)

I take it that is what you used and it works well?

Thanks Rusty = actually we are trying to decide between the mount from jireh and the one corpsegrinder shows. Yours is a lot less expensive, but the other has its own merits as well.

But I do thank all you for your help. We were just about ready to abandon the idea, and now we have several ways to go.

Nah. I didn't go that way. Most of those brackets push the light out too far for my liking. I drilled the tree out and grinded the litlle nub on the bottom of the tree.

Oh! Thanks. Ya, I think that I wouldnt want to have it stick out too much either.

BTW - how do you post those pictures? I cant figure out how everyone does it. Whenever I try it, it keeps asking for a web site.

Love that paint job on your tank.

You can install it on the stock bracket without having to use shims. I did mine and it worket fine.
