Been away from the threads for a while fellas, but just wanted to post some new pics of the work done to my scoot.

Chopped up the seat and re upholstered, lowered 2.5 inches with scootworks kit, led turn sigs in rear with SS Riders brake light and front turn signal, side mount plate, pipes and intake done by me (with some help from Beech), wheels broken and powdered rims and hubs, white wall tires, zee bars (Egay special). I also painted the fork lowers, trees, risers, headlight and speedo. They are holding up very nicely. Still not sure what I want to do about the rear fender, but thinking maybe a trailer blank supported with a tall sissy bar?? Old Skool pinstripping is in the works. Let me have some suggestions fellas. (I realized asking some of you for "input" might be calling hell to my doorstep.) :laugh4:

Looks great! Love the black rims with the whitewalls.
The trailer fender is a good idea. I'd go with a short sissybar though (like the one in Surfernick's gallery).JMO.

Thanks for the comps fellas. Im just so thrilled to have her back on the road. Ill probably just enjoy riding for a few months before I attack the rear fender. I also thought of a coffin tank but I dont feel like filling up every 40 miles. :thumbsdow
Your right though Beaker, that bar would be badass. Its under serious consideration.

Look sweet dude. I've still never seen a bobber in person, so I'm sure the pics don't do it justice. Although it seems as though everyone on this forum ends up turning their VLX into a bobber sooner or later.

looking nice, you can clean up the front end by rerouting your cables behind the tree.
