I got a windshield from Beaker on friday and I put it on my bike tonight. I think it looks pretty good. It does help with the wind. I want to post some pics but every time I try I keep getting an error. Any tips?

Dunno if this is it, but...
I have had similar posting experiences on various sites and have usually resolved it with using my picture editor (anyone will do - most CPU's come with some kind of factory installed one - Microsoft picture editor for example). You can manipulate the pic by cropping it, compressing it, or by locking the X,Y aspect ratio and reducing it. Try getting it under 150000 bytes. This usually works for most sites.

Thanks beaker, the windshield came the other day. I rode today into the city (about 60 miles round trip) I had some problems with it staying up. the wind kept pushing it back towards me a bit. any tips?

Oblivion's probably right (the tightening part). I never had it budge. Probably not tight enough somewhere (did you have to shim at the bars?).

I used your idea and wrapped the bars with an inner tube first, then tightened the mounts. im thinking that the rubber has too much give. Im gonna try some electrical tape instead and see what happens.
Oblivion- i did ride with one hand on the shield, then gave up.

If that doesn't work, you may want to cut some strips of thin sheet metal and use those as shims (might be more solid).
