I've got a 2002 shadow spirit ( about 3200 miles on it ).............. It keeps blowing the 15 amp fuse for the dash, blinker, & taillight after it warms up ( usually when I park and turn the key off ). Anyone had similar problems??

You really need to stop talking to yourself! :gossip:

Can't say I've had that problem. But from the sounds of it you have a dead short somewhere. You are saying it only happens when the bike is shut off? You may want to try isolating the ignition switch to make sure that's not causing the problem. (I would doubt that's where it is).
If you've done "any" electrical work to the bike in the last while, start there. More then likely something is grounded where it shouldn't be.

After the fuse burns replace it and use a meter to check for continuity between the positive terminal in the flasher bulb sockets and ground (brake light circuit as well). If there're aftermarket flashers installed a wire may have been pinched or routed in such a way that the insulation has worn and is in contact with the frame.

Thanks Ya'll,

It turned out to be the speed-o cable going to the front wheel. Just had me boggled in a bad way!! ......... And I could barely see the problem.

Now i can shut my freakin' pie-hole.

Well grenade we are glad it's resolved, but.....

Will you please help the board in explaining what process you performed to pinpoint the speedo line as the problem?

I do not have a schematic on hand for your machine, but after online research I do confirm that the speedo is a tank mount (electronic)....

What happened and how did you resolve it?

Well,

The previous owner of the cycle had done several mods on the bike. Since i could only get the fuse to blow when I parked after a ride, I kinda thought something was getting hot ( a wire somewhere ).

( Will you please help the board in explaining what process you performed to pinpoint the speedo line as the problem? )

More than I should have!! ................ I just started taking stuff off that he'd put on to see if there was a pinched wire or something and finally after removing and looking @ way too much, there it was ..... the speed-o cable was wrapped around part of the front brake cable ( not the way it should have been ) and was being pinched by the forks .............. so as it turns out when I parked the cycle I was turning the bars to the left and causing the short. Now what's crazy was that it would'nt usually blow the fuse till I turned the key off ( or get back on the bike and straighten it up w/ the key on ).

This explanation has been brought to you by Dos Equis Special Lager.
Thanks,
Wayne
