i have a sisy bar w/ brackets for sale if you may be interested. the sissy bar comes off in seconds with 4 allen bolts.

Does this mount with the bolts for fender strut covers? If you have to remove those and put them back in each time it won't work man. Sorry. May have to skip getting one because they all apear to be that way. Do you have any pics of it close up mounted?

check out my avitar photo. it is mounted to the bike in that pic(not a close-up though).
the mounting brackets mount with 2 large bolts to the chrome fender rail and the backrest itself than mounts to those brackets with 2 small bolts. the way i did it was i kept the mounting brackets on the bike and removed the backrest with the 2 small bolts that connect the backrest to the mounting brackets.
as far as the brackets being in the way of struts, the backrest brackets mount on with the 2 allen bolts that hold the fender on. the shock mounts are a bit more forward.
