So I'm headed East from Seattle in October - got a better gig with NOAA in Washington D.C. - and sadly the bike won't make the trip. Lots of reason, but you'll all be happy to know it has a home in Eastern WA with a commercial pilot who is riding it about 120 miles round trip a day to Moses Lake to fly. It means I have to 4 wheel it across the country. I'll be doing the northern tier - I-90 county to Dunkirk NY to see my daughters, then down through Pennsylvania to Maryland.

So, any body got any cool route suggestions that, while done in my car and not the bike, would be worht my time? And second, anyone know any good places in the D.C. - Baltimore - Eastern MD area to start scouting for my next Shadow?

can't help you out with the route thing for the car. There's some good roads in the eastern MD<PA area though once you find a new ride. I've only dealt with one dealership in the baltimore area Pete's cycle they have 3 stores i've dealt with the one in Bell Air. Not bad but not overly inpressed either.

I'm in Aberdeen MD and ride with few guys almost every weekend if you ever get down this way and want to ride let me know.

Maybe in Cali and around Vegas - but the supply up here in the PNW is not . . . well . . . ample enough, especiaqlly in the aftermarket modified category. :sasmokin:
