Has anyone noticed that since the price of gas has jumped, the number of bikes on the street has increased?
It is really noticeable in my town. However it is also a little scary. A lot of these shouldnt even be on a bike. You can just tell some of them were an accident waiting to happen.
This is great for promoting bikes, but I hope it does not end up changing our statistics for accidents and deaths.

yeah the motorcycles on the road here have jumped up too,see alot of
older bikes,2-stroke engines - that looks like they are barley running.
you know the bike that people have in the back yard rotting. and never been
ran since 1952.
Also there are alot of scooters around, vespa type.its funny cuz the kind of
people that ride these think that they are the coolest thing on the street.
they even try to waive at other people riding bikes ike ours.lol...
personally i will waive at other cruisers and any kind of bike and also crouch rockets
but for some reason i can not bring myself to waiveing at the scooter drivers....

I noticed the same thing here. Lot of scooters that had better days. Same for the waive....now if it's a pretty young girl riding I might make an exception !!
